This is me with Edmund - then my fiance, now my husband.  Edmund's outfit was made by Ninya Mikhaila and is copied from a portrait of the Earl of Leicester.  This was Edmund's  first Gentry costume. The doublet is a deep red silk taffeta pinked and slashed. the hose are lined with the same taffeta as are the canions. The panes are black velvet with a gold braid applied. The Jerkin is white leather edged in gold. A tall silk hat completes the outfit.

Me and Ninya Mikhaila - who is wearing a beautiful gown.  Sadly the first photo chopped off a bit of me, but the second shows a lovely back view of the gown.  Two weeks after these pictures were taken, Edmund proposed to me!
