The bodice FITS!!! What think you? Isn't it great??? The seams are only pinned in this image! It is very comfy! |

The bodice is laced underneath with hook and eye tape closing it (this hasn't actually been done up for the photos!) |

I am pleased there is a small gap as I have a "piping" of the red wool with "puffs" of the white silk pulled through which needs to "sit" down the centre front! |

| The back is very nice! all fits very well! | This shows how the lacing strip sits inside with the hook and bar tape attached. |

I still need to hand stitch down the hook and eye tape. It is machined into place nearest the lacing strips but not near the bodice Centre Front edge. Thats the hand work bit and then the red wool will be folded over with tiny holes cut so the eyes or hooks can be slipped through. I don't really want to see the white strip - it will be wool! |

The back braid pattern did cause me a bit of a headache. I decided to go for the back completely braided and slashed as per the front. The bitmap below gives and idea of what it could look like: |
